Shout out to Oregon restaurants that feature local craft spirits on their cocktail lists. It’s rarer than you would think, and we are always very appreciative. Today, we highlight Takibi, “a restaurant inspired by Japan, the changing seasons, and the bonds built while gathering by the fire.” They’ve recently debuted a new cocktail, Bull’s Eye Rose, that features our Carlton Rye Whiskey. Just listen to how delicious it sounds in Takibi’s description below. We can hardly wait to stop by and try it for ourselves. You should, too! Cheers!
“In this Jack Rose variation, Patrick incorporates Laird's Straight Apple Brandy, accentuating the approaching autumn season while harmonizing with the botanicals of Pasubio Vino Amaro. He adds Portland local distillate Bull Run Straight Rye Whiskey, grenadine, lemon juice, Angostura bitters, Luxardo Maraschino Original, and umeboshi. Served over pebble ice in a Snow Peak titanium mug with a lemon wheel & cherry pick garnish.”
