Straight Bourbon Whiskey: Perfect in a Cold Fashioned

Our Straight Bourbon Whiskey has always been a staple around here, and some say it’s only getting better with age.

Aged 6+ years in new charred American oak and cut with pure Bull Run watershed water, this is our award-winning high-rye bourbon. That extra rye brings a dry, peppery balance to round out the sweetness, making it an easy pour neat that also holds its own in a cocktail.

Looking to mix something up this weekend? Here’s a throwback to a fall favorite created by our friend and master mixologist Jon Davidson:

Cold Fashioned

- 2 oz Bull Run Straight Bourbon Whiskey

- 0.25 oz Mezcal

- 1 oz Cold Brew Coffee

- 0.5 oz Maple syrup

- 3 dashes Bitters

Build in a rocks glass with ice, stir well, and strain over one large rock. Garnish with a few coffee beans or an orange peel.
