Celebrating Oregon Wine Month Where Whiskey Meets Wine

Oregon Wine Month hits different when you’re making whiskey just “down the road” from the vineyards. Barrel finishing has become a defining part of what we do, and few projects reflect that better than our Pinot Finished American Whiskey. We’ll let our Head Distiller and Founder, Lee Medoff, take it from here:

“Barrels are essential to whiskey maturation, lending color, flavor, and aroma. Our American Pinot Noir Wine Barrel Finish Whiskey is no exception. The finishing time in French oak lends an elegant touch of coffee and chocolate notes, and the tighter grain brings a dryness on the palate that helps balance the natural sweetness of the whiskey. We are fortunate to have a vibrant wine industry in Oregon, and it’s a privilege to have access to wine barrels that make our Pinot Finish Whiskey so popular.”
