Caribeño - Happy Hour Cocktail Recipe

Alright, the weekend is about to begin and it’s time to break out the Rum…our Pacific Rum and our Spiced Pacific Rum to be exact. Both of which are featured in our take on the Caribeño (recipe below). This is another one of the cocktails that helped inspire the Rough Cut Soap Happy Hour summer release. Lucky for us, it’s rumored that it can make you feel like you’re sipping libations beachside. Exceedingly useful when the weather isn’t the best. Ready to get tropical? Cheers!


  • 1 oz Bull Run Pacific Rum

  • 1 oz Bull Run Spiced Pacific Rum

  • 1/4 oz fresh squeezed & strained lime juice

  • 1/4 oz Raw Oregon Honey Simple Syrup*

  • 4 oz coconut water (strain unless you want the little chunks of coconut floating in your cocktail!)

  • Garnish: Farmhouse Lab Flower Petal Salt


  1. Add the rum, coconut water, lime juice, and honey syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.

  2. Strain into a collins glass over fresh ice

  3. Garnish with Farmhouse Lab Flower Petal Salt

*Raw Oregon Honey Simple Syrup Put equal parts of honey and water into a saucepan. Over medium heat, warm just until melded together. Keep in the refrigerator and should keep for a month.
